Cattle Egret....Bubulcus ibis. 01-01-09 This bird came right up to the car convieniently catching the lizard when alongside.The Cattle Egret has been removed from the Greek rarities list its range now expanding throuout the area, being found more and more in the UK also. We spotted a large flock of thirty plus on the lagoons of Venice, Italy in March 2009
